PC-Woody is an epoxy paste formulated to replace missing and rotted wood. This epoxy is made from real wood and has many characteristics of wood, providing structural strength greater than most wood. Designed for both interior and exterior applications, PC-Woody is a permanent wood repair solution that demonstrates excellent resistance to various elements, including dry rot, UV light, fresh and salt water, and chemicals present in pressure-treated wood.

After the cure, users can paint, stain, drill, machine, sand, file, tap, or saw the repaired area. PC-Woody can be used to repair log homes, furniture, window and door sills, and a wide range of other wood-based items. The product comes in two components: component A is off-white, and component B is light brown, resulting in a pine or tan color when mixed.

The product offers an extended working time of 30-40 minutes at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing users to reposition their work or make changes as needed. The tack-free cure time is 90 minutes, and the full service cure is achieved in 24 hours, with the maximum cure reached after 7 days.

PC-Woody demonstrates impressive physical properties, including a Gardner impact resistance of 100 in/lb, an elongation of 5-7 percent, and excellent thermal shock resistance. It is also non-conductive and has a heat range of -20 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

The tensile shear strength of PC-Woody is 850 psi, the compressive yield is 2340 psi, and the flexural strength is 1280 psi. The water absorption rate is 0.44 percent, and the weight (specific gravity) is 0.72 g/cm cube or 0.42 oz/in cube. The hardness measured on the Shore scale is 50-55 after one week, and the heat deflection temperature is 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
